Sue is an experienced educational leader based in Rotorua.  She has over 40 years of experience in education, as a principal, leadership coach, researcher, teacher and PLD facilitator.  She has coached leadership and teaching teams in several schools, presented in conferences in London and Wales, and engaged in sabbatical study in Canada.  As principal of Nelson Park School in Napier, Sue supported well-established learning through play pedagogy reflecting her belief that leaders and schools should be providing a learning environment in which every child’s self-efficacy and status as a learner and person is valued.  Sue finds joy in inspiring teachers and coaching them through change and growth.
